KanJam

KanJam is a 4-player disc-tossing game played with two plastic goals placed 50 feet apart. Teammates stand at opposite goals, alternating roles as thrower and deflector, with the objective to score exactly 21 points — or hit the Instant Win slot.

Game Setup & Basics

Teams: Two teams of two. Teammates stand at opposite goals.
The Throw: The thrower must stand entirely behind the goal's throwing line. Stepping over the line results in a foot fault with no points awarded.
Deflecting: The deflector can move anywhere around the goal but cannot double-hit, catch, or carry the disc.

Scoring System

Dinger

The deflector redirects the disc to hit the outside of the goal.

Deuce

The thrower hits the side of the goal unassisted — no deflector involved.

Bucket

The deflector redirects the disc so it lands inside the goal through the top or front slot.

Winning the Game

Exactly 21: A team must reach exactly 21 points to win. If a throw pushes a team over 21, the points from that throw are deducted from their current score instead.
Equal Turns: Both teams must complete the same number of turns before the game concludes.

⚡ Instant Win

If the thrower lands the disc directly inside the can unassisted — through the top or the front slot — that team wins automatically and immediately, regardless of the score.
